Every calculator, free
The whole published range is free to use. A free account removes the preview limit an anonymous visitor gets, with no card and nothing to cancel.
For advice businesses
CalcStudio gives advisers, mortgage brokers, accountants and other client-facing finance businesses a range of professional financial calculators. Every calculator published today is free to use, and a free account lets you embed them on your own website in your own branding. Installation is one line of code, and each embed runs only on the websites you approve.
What you paste in
One script tag, on the page you choose
<script async src="https://calcstudio.io/api/embed.js?code=YOUR_EMBED_CODE&calc=loan-repayment-calculator&h=720"></script>Your account issues the code, you pick the calculator, and the embed sizes itself to the column it lands in - so it holds up on a phone as well as on a desktop.
What your account gets
There is no plan to choose between and nothing held back from the free range. An account removes the preview limit and unlocks the things an anonymous visitor cannot have.
The whole published range is free to use. A free account removes the preview limit an anonymous visitor gets, with no card and nothing to cancel.
Putting the calculators on your own website comes with the same free account. There is no separate purchase and no upgrade to reach for it.
Your logo, company name and brand colours across the whole calculator, so a client never meets another company's brand mid-calculation.
Any result prints to PDF or downloads as CSV, schedules and charts included - useful for a follow-up email or a client file.
The full picture of what is free and what is coming later is on what you get, and the case for using a maintained calculator instead of building one is on why CalcStudio.
Who uses them
The calculators are the same whichever of these you are. What changes is which ones earn their place on your website, so each group below starts with the tools its clients actually ask about.
Repayments, offset structures, rent versus buy and published New Zealand bank rates - the four conversations a mortgage appointment keeps returning to.
Put two realistic paths side by side with the assumptions visible, so a client can see where a number came from instead of being asked to trust it.
Give a business or personal client a practical starting point for budgeting, debt and cash-flow questions before the meeting rather than during it.
Affordability and commitment questions come up in protection conversations too. Lenders, fintechs and finance teams embed the same calculators for the same reason.
Installing it
Five steps, none of which is a development project. Most of it happens inside your account; the only thing that touches your website is the last step.
A snippet alone does not make a calculator appear
The snippet carries the code that identifies your account, but it is the website that decides whether the calculator renders. Every load is checked against the websites approved for your account, and anywhere else it refuses - so approve the site before you paste the snippet in, not after.
Sign up and confirm your email. That alone lifts the preview limit and gives you the whole published range.
Your workspace is what an embed belongs to. Create it yourself from your account page, or tell us and we will set it up with you.
Logo, company name, colours, card frame and layout. What you set here is what your visitors see on your own page.
List the website the calculator will run on. Approve it before you paste the snippet in, not after - an unapproved site will not render it.
Copy the embed snippet from your account and paste it where you want the calculator. There is no build step and nothing to deploy.
White-label
A client works out a repayment on your page, in your colours, under your name, and never meets another company's brand in the middle of it. That is what white-label means here, and these are the controls that deliver it.
Your websites only
You list the websites your calculators may run on, and the embed is refused everywhere else. It never tells the refusing page why, so a misconfigured site shows a neutral card rather than anything about your account.
Usage is counted per account, calculator, website and day - so you can see which calculators earn their place. Nothing about the visitor is stored, and the embed sets them no cookie.
What the embed does and does not storeStraight answers
Including the three answers that are “no”. It is better to read them here than to find out after you have built a plan around them.
Nothing. Every calculator published today is free to use, and embedding them on your own website comes with a free account rather than a purchase. There is no card to enter and nothing to cancel. A further paid range of calculators is being built, and nothing you can use today moves behind it.
No. You copy a one-line embed snippet from your account and paste it into the page where you want the calculator to appear. There is no build step, nothing to deploy and no calculation logic for you to maintain.
No. CalcStudio gives you a script snippet rather than a plugin for any particular content management system, so it works anywhere you can paste a line of HTML into a page. The calculator sizes itself to the column you drop it into.
Yes. You set your logo, company name, primary and secondary colours, card frame, corner radius, layout density, logo size and header treatment, and choose whether a calculator shows text, a graph or both. That is what makes it a white-label calculator rather than someone else's tool on your page.
Only on the websites approved for your account. Every embed load is checked against that list, and anywhere else the calculator refuses to render, so nobody can take your snippet and run your branded calculators on a site you did not choose.
No. An embedded calculator works for everyone who lands on your page, with no sign-in and no preview limit for them. The account is yours, not theirs.
No. CalcStudio has no public calculator API. What it provides is a supported website embed, which keeps the calculation logic maintained and updated by us instead of reimplemented and versioned by you.
No. There is no built-in lead capture: an embedded calculator collects no name, email or contact details from the person using it, and sends you no enquiry. It sits alongside the enquiry or booking form your website already has, which keeps handling enquiries exactly as it does now.
Tell us what you need through the contact form. We review every request, but we cannot promise that every idea will be added to the product, and CalcStudio is not a bespoke development service.
